Technology Tools
The proper technology tool in the hands of the right individual can make a wide variety of common academic and organizational tasks more efficient and organized. My experience working with all kinds of students and individuals of all ages indicates that anyone interested in using technology can experience significant benefits.
Given the wide variety of high quality, inexpensive or free software tools that are a click away, finding effective technologies that support reading comprehension, note-taking, organization, and writing is easier than ever. While learning to integrate features may require some time and energy, in situations where the individual is a computer-user to begin with, this process can be very straightforward.
Unless otherwise noted (*), all of the technologies and software listed below are available at EdTherapy's office for demonstration, exploration, and training on the PC. (There is a lot of overlap regarding different features. Visit TechMatrix for more information on which tools contain certain features.)
